What is Investing?

Investing is like planting seeds in a garden with the hope that they'll grow into something more. Instead of seeds, though, you use your money to buy things like stocks (which are a piece of a company), property, or other stuff that could grow in value over time.

Just like how plants need time, water, and care to grow, investments need time to increase in value. Sometimes they might grow quickly, and other times it might take a while. But the goal is to make your money grow by choosing the right things to invest in and letting them grow over time.
